Spiritual Formation

Spiritual formation is the experience of growth in prayer. At St. Matthew’s Church, spiritual formation occurs through participation in Mass on Sunday, in praying the daily offices of Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer, and in cultivating prayerfulness in all of life’s tasks and seasons. We recommend that everyone meet with a Spiritual Director, a person who is trained to guide people in seeing and participating with the movements of God’s grace in their life.
