Mama Mirriam Fundraiser

We thank all the parishioners who so generously gave to Mama Mirriam and her children during this Advent season. Beginning with a successful craft fair launched by our beloved Women's Guild, your generosity has allowed St. Matthew's Church to send approximately $16,000 in support to this orphanage and ministry!

Mama Mirriam sends her gratitude and reported that she has been able to purchase food for the children that will last them through to the end of 

February as well as pay for the emergency medical supplies and bills brought on by a number of COVID-19 cases among the staff and children, many of whom are HIV positive with histories of TB and asthma, making them high risk. We are grateful to be able to support her important work in South Africa in prayer and will continue to accept ongoing financial contributions throughout the year.
