Blessing of the Animals

Join us to commemorate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi—13th century Italian friar, mystic, and the patron saint of animals—on Friday, October 9th, at 9:30 AM in the St. Monica’s Pavilion.

To celebrate St. Francis, we’ll hold a Blessing of the Animals, where you can bring your pets to church to receive a blessing. To help with “over-friendliness,” we encourage you to bring your animal friends on a leash, in a carrier, or otherwise protected.

Please contact Fr. Hayden with any questions.
