We believe that the formation of our community involves ongoing education. Our church is blessed with many gifted people who give their time and expertise to help members of the parish to grow and flourish. From classes on child development to Bible studies to C.S. Lewis to contemplative prayer, our diverse class offerings help us all to see how the Christian Faith applies to all of life.
Inquirers’ Class:
If you are new to our church or have questions about the Faith, we invite you to participate in our Inquirers’ Class. The Inquirers’ Class is the best way to find out more about our faith and tradition. We discuss what we believe and why we believe it, what we do and why we do it. The class covers eight topics of material over the course of ten weeks. Notes for each chapter are distributed and read by the participants ahead of time. Then the class meets for discussion with the aim of focusing on the particular questions those participating in each class have.

Contemplative Prayer Workshop:
Join Spiritual Director, Lisa Marion for a 3-part workshop on the centuries-old practice of Contemplative Prayer. Held in the Bishop’s Study from 9:30-10:45, Sundays, January 9th, 16th, and 23rd, this workshop will examine the differences between Meditation and Contemplation and explore the history and traditions of Christian Contemplation.
