Chapel Choir (ages 3-5) Parent and Me

The Chapel Choir follows the Musikgarten curriculum engineered for a Child’s Brain, Body, Heart, and Soul. We are excited to offer education for the whole person. The children have a wonderful time of play and discovery as they engage with each other and many for the first time discover that singing brings joy to their young souls.
Music is powerful and is a wonderful conduit for learning, especially in young children. When paired with movement and instrument play, it creates neurological magic, lighting up a child’s brain and positively impacting all areas of development. The benefits of music education are truly transformational.

The Chapel Choir year will be divided into 3 periods or trimesters and will meet on Saturdays from 4 – 4:45 pm:

10/7 – 12/6 (Michaelmas Term)

1/13 – 3/14 (Hilary Term)

4/21 – 6/16 (Trinity Term)

with an end of year party on 6/23

Bishops Choir (ages 6-8)

Entry into the Bishops Choir is a true milestone for the young child as it marks the first opportunity to perform with the older children. They continue with their studies and will advance naturally in more complex musical fun through rhythm, dance, and singing. They will also build on their knowledge in Musical forms and more complex. We ask parents to pick up fifteen minutes early to participate in the recap of the days learning. Outside play time is invited after class is over. The performances for this year will be Christmas Eve Mass and the Women’s Guild Tea in the Spring.

Like the Chapel Choir, the year for The Bishops Choir will be divided into 3 periods or trimesters and will meet on Saturdays from 5 – 5:45 pm:

10/7 – 12/6 (Michaelmas Term)

1/13 – 3/14 (Hilary Term)

4/21 – 6/16 (Trinity Term)

with an end of year party on 6/23
